PLC SPLITTER
The PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) is a type of optical splitter which uses planar technology and provides low insertion loss, uniformly dividing the optical signal from an input fiber in two or more output fibers. These non-wavelength selective optical splitting devices are supplied with a small metal case, 900um buffer not connectorized and generally used in ODBs or Closures in point-to-multipoint topologies (PON networks). These products have been developed upon TIM technical specification.
