This user optical socket developed and homologated by Open Fiber, allows the connection of individual apartments to the vertical access fiber optic network. Small and aesthetically pleasing, the termination inside the socket can be achieved via a 900 μm pigtail with SC/APC Splice-on Connector, or with a field-installable SC/APC connector. It can easily host a monodirectional FBG optical reflector. Standard configuration includes an SC/APC shutter adapter.
