FIBER OPTIC INSTRUMENTS
An optical power meter or power meter is an instrument used to measure the power in an optical signal. The calibrated sensor inside it consists mainly of a photodiode selected for the appropriate wavelength range and power levels. On the display, the measured optical power and set wavelength are shown.
