FIBER OPTIC INSTRUMENTS
An optical source is an instrument that emits light through a diode or LED at a predetermined wavelength with maximum stability over time in order to measure the optical power and the relative attenuation through an optical power meter or power meter positioned at the other end of the network.
The measuring instrument is able to operate in 4 different wavelengths and can be used in applications with single-mode and multi-mode optical fiber.
