PLC SPLITTER
The PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) is a type of optical splitter which uses planar technology and provides low insertion loss, uniformly dividing the optical signal from an input fiber in two or more output fibers. These non-wavelength selective optical splitting devices are supplied in plastic case with SC/APC connectorized input with 900 μm jacket, pre-cabled and connectorized SC/APC outputs with 900 μm jacket. Usually used in ODBs in point-to-multipoint topologies (PON networks).
